There are brilliant strands of vibrating frequencies that connect each person's deepest calling, to the Universe's natural tendency toward fulfilment.       
          

In other words, this universal momentum sustains all that exists in a state of motion, and urges everything toward the apex of their design.  This is true with or without human intervention. However, the human equation does present a slight variable in terms of so called destiny.
 
Where destiny takes on a cast of 'inevitability' is on the visible horizon where belief and environment meet. We are designed with the ability to, at every moment, make choices that alter out-come. You've heard this before in every language ...and it is still true. In fact, it isn't so important for us to understand why as it is effective for us to accept it as a working truth.

 The other part of the human equation is presented in something we each always know to be true about ourselves. It is a calling; a voice; a passion; or an internal direction that no one else can recognize but us. This factor is where I believe our uniqueness is designed into us, and this is where the Universe essentially tells us the task it created us for. Answering that call  is equal to accepting a gift of grace.  Everyone has access to it, it is our birth-right, but not everyone will accept it. 

So the tantalizing question, "Is it our will, or is it design that influences us most?" ...still persists. I find peace with this sound of one hand clapping riddle by remembering that physics has found that it is the nature of things to exist in several states, apparently at the same time. Therefore we tend to see contradictions and impossibilities -so named by our tiny perspective- where none actually exist. We are still disquieted by nature's extreme comfort level with duality and synchronicity. But I digress...

 This calling -the deep desire we have had, often since early memory- remains compelling throughout the years and never really goes away. What we do not see when we are busy ignoring  it, is that everything on earth wants us to pursue it. It waits as if expecting us to follow our hearts at any moment. Time does not wait of course, and we do grow older. But the Universe knows us because it prepared for us to exist, and it will wait in a state of expectation until our journey has ended.  Nothing born of Earth is without cause. Every species that ever came into existence did so because there was an opening for it's unique talents.

 

This is true of individuals as well as whole groups, and remains our original cause even if we never fulfill our internal potential. And it is our internal direction that will drive our physical destiny. So, I find myself suspecting that where we tend to exercise our will is not so much in choosing our hearts path- because our true hearts path is who we are naturally. Where we might be confusing will and choice with outcome is in thinking that we need to create our calling when, in fact, the intention of our life is simply to be who we are. What we will-fully choose, everyday, tends to go against that nature and therefore takes much more will-power and energy to sustain.

I believe that this is why when we do finally surrender to our internal design, things have a way of falling into place and countless pieces come together to help make it happen for us. Most of us know the voice that has been with us from the very beginning. That voice has always known who we are and it continues to remember for us, even when circumstance assume status over our internal-design. 
 
Aligning our values, our passion and purpose, with what we do in the world is necessary in order to free up the basic reserves needed for maintaining optimum health, and for sustaining an internal joy.  And it is this internal joy that is the catalyst for positive change -personally and globally.
  
Each of us eventually arrives at a moment in our lives when we are ready to shift into living in greater alignment with the values that feed our spirit and simultaneously pour our gifts back into the world. For some people success is tangible. It can be quantified. For others it is more internal; they have most everything they want, and they feel ready to activate a shift in their perspective and life purpose.
